Shaolin Temple and Kung Fu

 The Shaolin Temple, located in central China’s Henan province, is a Buddhist temple that has been around for over 1,500 years. It is known for being the birthplace of Shaolin Kung Fu, one of the oldest forms of Chinese martial arts 12. The temple is home to many young children who are trained in the art of Kung Fu from a very young age 1. In fact, many children are sent to the temple at around four years old to start their training 1.
